StandardBox front-mounted roller shutters

Front-mounted roller shutters are distinguished by a box structure made of aluminum, in three imounted variants that can be adapted to various building conditions. The classic solution for installing the cover, suitable for the modernization of existing facilities, is installation on the building facade. Alternatively, there are variants of mounted on the facade with an “L”-shaped lintel or mounted in the window recess, ensuring an aesthetic finish and perfect adaptation to various building conditions.

The StandardBox system allows, depending on the customer’s requirements and preferences, to obtain variants of front-mounted external roller shutters differing in terms of: dimensions of the box, roller shutter division, color of elements and type of control.

More warmth in winter, more coolness in summer

The advantage of front-mounted roller shutters in the StandardBox system is their significant impact on improving the thermal insulation of the building. The method of mounting the roller shutter box does not interfere with the structure of the window and wall, so it does not affect the energy balance of the building.

In summer, the lowered curtain helps maintain a pleasant temperature inside the room by reflecting sunlight in front of the glass and preventing hot air from entering the interior. In winter, lowered external roller shutters create the so-called an “air cushion” that effectively limits heat loss from the room.

More silence, more peace

Increasingly larger housing estates, as well as increasing street traffic, force investors to look for construction solutions that ensure greater privacy, security and limit the impact of bothersome sounds on everyday life.

Acoustic insulation, next to thermal insulation, is one of the most important aspects of building solutions. The lowered armor of a front-mounted external roller shutter reduces the transmission of sounds from outside by up to a few decibels, so you can enjoy the desired silence in the building’s rooms.

Features of front-mounted roller shutters in the StandardBox system

Get to know the system solutions and its benefits

Front-mounted roller shutters in the StandardBox system are distinguished by their well-thought-out design, which guarantees durability and stability, even with large widths of the roller shutter box. The system fits into the framework of energy-saving construction, meeting the needs of even the most demanding users.

Architectural cleanliness and aesthetics

Roller shutters in the front-mounted StandardBox system are characterized by the roller shutter box being installed outside the investment, therefore all visible elements – the roller shutter box, curtain guides and roller shutter curtain – are matched to each other in terms of color, allowing the appearance of the roller shutters to be adjusted to the color of the windows, facade or roof of the building. The roller shutter components are powder-coated, which ensures durability and high quality of the product.

Quick installation

Easy and quick installation in existing buildings as well as in newly constructed investments. Minimal interference with the condition of the building.

Wide selection of roller shutter curtain profiles

Possibility of using roller shutter profiles in various colors and dimensions. Filling with polyurethane foam provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.

Comfortable control

Possibility to control the roller shutter body with electric or manual drives. The electric drive can be integrated with smart home systems, significantly increasing the comfort of use.

Protection from insects

The roller shutter box is available in a version with a roll-up insect screen, placed between the window and the roller shutter body, which provides additional screen protection.

Solid construction

The design of the elements guarantees stiffness, even with large widths of the roller shutter box, without the need for additional fastenings.

Ergonomic access to the box

Access plate enabling quick access to the interior of the box thanks to the well-thought-out lock design.

Various box dimensions

Five dimensions of the front-mounted roller shutter box (137×137 mm, 150×150 mm, 165×165 mm, 180×180 mm, 205×205 mm) which allow adapting it to size of the window.

External roller shutter box in the front-mounted StandardBox system

Possibility to adjust the roller shutters to each building and your preferences

The universal design of the roller shutters allows the box to be mounted both in existing facilities and in newly constructed buildings, which significantly expands the possibilities of using this system. Front-mounted external roller shutters are particularly used in thermal modernization processes, improving the efficiency of thermal insulation of buildings, reducing the energy demand for heating and cooling rooms and reducing operating costs.
